Mcalister's Deli - Murfreesboro

For some reason, I always forget McAlister's existence. And then, by chance, I'll get a craving for a bread bowl. I'm pretty sure McAlisters is the only place to offer soup in bread bowls. Good soup. Large soups, good teas, nice selection of sandwiches to choose from. A little bit of everything. I'd say the prices are fair. I get decent customer service, not to complain. This is McAlister for you. Nothing really notices, it is somehow forgettable, but if you remember, they are not disappointed.

Sandwiches are very small but taste good. Soups are not very good at all and also mine was barely warm. Always check the bag bc they are very unorganized on expo. I don't think I will be returning. Felt like a waste of money.

Terrible. If you order to go, good luck. Every time I get take out, they are missing stuff. Tonight, we ordered 4 of the pick 2s, and every single one was missing something. Half of the order was missing. After going and picking up the rest and driving 20 minutes back home, we all got the pleasure of enjoying cold food. The second time around we picked up the missing soups, so realistically those should’ve been at least warm since they were fresher than the other food. Nope. It was all cold. One of us got the ultimate nachos, the chips were all broken and mainly crumbs. Asked for no avocado or jalapeños, but of course those were still on there. No pickle spears were included. When we did go to pick up the remaining missing food, we were greeted with attitude and given the excuse that a DoorDash worker took the other bag of our food and that’s why it was missing. Didn’t even offer to remake the food that at that point, was old and cold. And what did the worker do to offer to fix this? A SINGLE free tea. What a joke. I’ve never seen so much incompetence.

I ordered a delivery on the Mcalisters website. On the order I had the ultimate nachos. I asked for only chips, rotel and chili on the nachos but was given chips with shredded cheese only. I called and spoke with the Manager Kayla and she was very rude to me over the phone when I asked for a partial refund for the nachos only. I wasn't being hostile or rude back and told her I could not come pick up the food because I have young children asleep (the whole reason I got delivery) and she said there was nothing she could do for me. I have never had such a rude experience with anyone at Mcalisters and love the restaurant and have been a loyal customer for years. However, after this experience I dont believe I will ever return, at least not to this location.
