Kilkenny is also on offer, but in my opinion has a completely different figure. There are still the darts missing, that would be cool, otherwise worth 5 stars from the mood and the offer!
The Kilian is one of a handful of Irish pubs in Munich. Located directly on the Munich Women's Church, it is not so convenient for motorists, as there are no parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. Access by public transport is however 1a. The restaurant offers everything you know from Irish pubs in general. The service is friendly and relatively flotted. You can also get all drinks at the bar with direct payment. Many English-speaking guests can be found there. The food is appropriate for such a location. However, the pizzas are surprisingly good. Live gigs from good and bad bands take place regularly. A secret tip about this is the Rotz and Wasser band, which can be found there a few times a year. German and English rock from the finest!!
The Kilians is one of the most cozy places. The Australia Bar is very small and is also very fast full. Sitting only with reservation or very good luck (if you come early enough, it can be too late that stands out because many want to play in, especially when you play a live band. Bund mixed audience of locals (or better to say, toys and tourists. If you are an open person, talk to others quickly. The services run if possible to place and you can place your order, otherwise you can also go to the counter and order there. The karaoke evenings are legendary. Go, feel good and have fun!
I like the Kilian very much. After a shopping trip to another world you can relax here. So we could go to a pub with our girls (13 and 15 years) and show them what a pub is and how it is with live music. Live simply does not mean with the earplug of the ipod or mobile phone. Through many native speakers, the awareness of foreign languages is much better than when parents prep. In the afternoon always very cozy, in the evening full. I find the atmosphere there good. I'm happy to be out of sports, that's too loud.
Has to do with an Irish pub as much as McDonalds with good kitchen; Very large, due to its location (directly at Marienplatz Frauenkirche very touristy. Food quite suitable (especially the sandwiches, but also not quite cheap. The usual beers and whiskeys but it takes me more than Guinness to really create pub atmosphere. Let's go to Molly Mallone's or The Old Irish! I have the impression that due to the long opening hours (from 4 p.m., Fridays Saturdays from 11 p.m. on Sundays from 12 p.m., the staff is mainly tired shortly before striving – and therefore is easily unfriendly.
