The service from the manager Hickey was very patient, friendly, and he even had the time to help our child choose a pop top juice. The grill meals were perfectly cooked and served promptly. The salad bar was clean and neat. This is a friendly relaxing Sizzler venue
Unhappy coustomer. No variety in salads, lettuce looked brown and old service slack. No custard to go with apple pie or bread custard pudding said was off the menu now. Asked for more bread said yes but never came back. Will never go back while these owners are there, we used to go often before.
Never.. My partner must have had a good experience one time at Sizzler, because we keep going here under some delusion that the cheese bread will be delicious, the salads varied and plentiful, the pasta fresh and inviting... I believe that Sizzler has closed down in every other state except WA which really says something about WA. It is too expensive when you end up spending $70 only to have to make your own salad. It is like a cafeteria straight out the 70s. The prawns are taken straight out of the freezer and into the deep fryer; their sogginess does not fool anyone. If it's about filling up the kids on the soft serve ice-cream machine then go for it, but if you want quality food, you won't find it here...
Pleasant surprise!. This was my first time to sizzlers and after reading some of the negative reviews, I was a little concerned and did not know what to expect. I came here for a Saturday lunch with a party of 11 6 adults and 6 children) to celebrate grandmas birthday. The kids ordered meals from the kids menu 3 chicken nuggets and chips, 2 fish and chips, 1 x steak and chips) plus the salad bar. 4 adults ordered the grilled barramundi plus unlimited salad bar, plus 2 had the seafood tower with salad bar. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The barramundi was tender and moist and there was plenty to choose from the salad bar. Everything was fresh and quickly replenished when nearly empty. The pumpkin soup was delicious. The desert bar had a nice range tiramisu, apple pie, lemon merange, chocolate mousse, custard and ice cream. Everybody enjoyed their lunch and will definitely be coming back for another family function.
DON'T BOTHER WAITING!. Arrived early at sizzler around 515 to try and beat the queue on a Sat night, however the queue was already out the door. We waited over 40 mins before we could get served. I really don't understand the system that they use for ordering. While most of the restaurant remains empty, you are left standing in the queue to place your order. It would be so much more enjoyable, if you were able to take your table and wait for staff to come to take your order, just like most other dining venues. Some customers were waiting outside in the cold because the line was that long. We watched with dismay, while the person at the till taking the orders, then proceeds to take the diners to their table and seat them, and organise their ordered alcholic drinks. All this while everyone is still waiting in the queue. They definately need someone who just takes the orders or let us in the restaurant to sit down. Not much has changed since our last visit, the food is still of quite poor quality for the price they charge, and the salad bar is still exposed to the touching of unsupervised little hands! We won't be returning anytime soon, and only came because our 12 yr old is mad on their crumbed shrimp. It was good when the kids were little, as they enjoyed the unlimited dessert bar, but over time you realise that there is much nicer family restaurants, with much nicer food, that don't leave you standing for 40 mins.We spend enough time waiting in unavoidable queues in life, don't want it on a sat night out for dinner!
