Sakuma Japanese - Mukilteo

This place offered such authentic food! I visited Seattle on a business trip, and I can guarantee this was my favorite spot during my visit. I've tried tons of Japanese food in my life, and I think this will be my top choice in Seattle. The Chirashi bowl was so fresh, and the high-quality fish practically melted in my mouth. I also tried the tempura, which was crispy and light. The service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place for both casual dining and special occasions. ?????

Price is getting increased and the salad is not served anymore when ordering sushi or sashimi combo

The vibe of this place is homey and cozy. Food is above average. Chirashi was beautifully arranged with a variety of sashimi. I loved the seasoning and texture of the tamagoyaki. Sushi rice was on the sticky end but worked for me. The look of the spicy tuna roll reminded me of Korean kimbap but the flavor was on spot, according to my husband.

Of all the area sushi restaurants, Sakuma remains consistently at the top of the list. Their fish is consistently fresh, portions are plentiful, their rolls as tasteful as one could want. They may be located in a nondescript Mukilteo strip mall, but if you love sushi, this is the place to visit.

This place is awesome and a great place to have family dinner : Fresh food and a cozy atmosphere make us happy and spend time on.
