Taj Mahal - Mugla

I asked for spicy Tarka Daal from the restaurant. The chef put lots of red chilli powder. Tandoori roti was horrible like poppadoms. They don't have any chef from Bradford. They don't know basics of indian cooking. Avoid this place

Best Indian restaurant I’ve been to. On holiday we never go to the same place twice because there’s so much choice but this place is special. The food is delicious and the have no problem changing things to suit you. Their wine selection is the best we found in Marmaris. We sat in the balcony terrace both nights which was lovely and we were offered blankets when it was cold. During our stay in marmaris we ate from here twice. Being pakistani we needed so desi food during our stay. On our first trip, we ordered the chicken lahori tawa, between us. The service is good and food came out to us in good time. However, i would not recommend this dish. Did not like it at all. Nice clean restaurant. Good atmosphere. Choice of rooftop seating aswell. Customer service was great. Got a few different curries, mixed platters, fries, family naans, roti. Some curries were good like chicken jalfrezi but lamb palak was a little disappointing. As was the mixed platters. Some items were nice but the chicken tikka pieces were abit bland for my liking sayin that the meat was nice and tender. Overall experience was very enjoyable with family members.
