Taverna Diyar - München

A few days ago I bumped into the taverna diyar by a coincidence. I just heard good about the tavern, but now I had the chance to see it. .

My friend and I were in Munich for a few days and this restaurant was recommended to us. I have to say we were not disappointed. It was really delicious and we would definitely eat there a second time!

Very tasty and good price management ratio. On hot days you sit in the shade of the restaurant.

A fellow American expatriate introduced me to this place, and I have been back many times. It's a relatively small, friendly place run by a Kurdish family. The room is bright and cheerful, the service prompt and discreet. The clientele seems to be mainly people who live in the neighborhood. The food is authentic and excellent, light and healthy and tasty. They have a full bar for those who want strong drink, beer or wine with their dinner. It is reachable by the Number 19 tram.

I knew Germany had a lot of excellent Turkish cuisine, so I went looking for one and came across this one. I had their lamb kavurma and it was magnificent! So flavorful and a generous portion of it! I even ordered some baclava to go and it was also great! Highly recommend! I visited in March of 2011, but that wasn't an option.
