Taverne Mülheim An Der Ruhr

Once again we'd been invited out for a bite to eat by our close friends who live in the area. Table was booked for Sat We we're shown to a table in the middle of the restaurant , you also might notice that at...each table there are different solid wood 'antique' chairs, similar to the walls full of interesting old oil paintings. I'm sure it was the 'boss' who took our orders, she was Italian and certainly had an ' air of authority ' about her. Our drinks order only took a few mins to be served. While we waited for the main course we were served freshly made bread rolls still warm cut in half with a small pot of garlic butter and some mixed pickles with olives. The four different mains pasta and one Schnitzel only took about mins! As you do we all tried each others dish, we were so pleasantly satisfied with the flavours and quality. The locals have already reviewed the taverne very positively it's certainly well worth a try if you're in the area

Ein italienisches Restaurant das durch seine familiäre Atmosphäre besticht.Das Essen ist einfach spitze und wir wurden in zahlreichen besuchen nie enttäuscht.Es sollte besonders auf die Tagesangebote auf der Tafel geachtet werden.Der Service ist überaus freundlich und sehr aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu wirken.Am Wochenende sollte man vorbestellen weil die Anzahl der Plätze nur klein ist.

Gemütlich, ausgesprochen lecker, sympathisch, authentisch und das zum fairen Preis. Was will man mehr?!

Nach dem Weihnachtsmarkt Bummel sind wir hier eingekehrt und haben es nicht bereut. Sehr leckere Pizza, freundliche Bedienung und urige Einrichtung. Allenfalls der Weißwein war etwas zu warm. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
