Fresh Mex Express In Diamond Spr

I did not get a chance to eat here but my truck had a coolant leak and broke down in Placerville. I managed to get to the O'Reilly Auto Parts near this restaurant. Two of the employees at Freshmex Express were very helpful. One of them helped me figure out where the leak was and I was able to get the parts I needed. He even went above and beyond and did the repair for me. Thanks so much!!!

I would give the food 6 stars if I could. Always fresh and fantastic. Great, fast service.

Just wasted 10 minutes trying to place an order for pick up. Guess Chipotle will get my money now. Invest in infrastructure.

It’s a taqueria with a compact menu. The interior is clean and simple, basic. But I sure dig their barbacoa… both the chili verde and chile colarado. It has a good depth of flavors. I’ve also had the carnitas here, not too shabby either. The food is in temperature controlled trays behind a glass counter. The staff will create your order with your preferred proteins and fixings right before your eyes. They press warm the tortillas for the tacos and burritos. They have complimentary chips and salsa which is self serve. The salsa bar serves up four different kinds, no pico de gallo though. But they do have salsa verde. It’s darn tasty.

Easily customizable burrito options. Can visualize most fast-food mexican chains, like Chipotle, but the food quality is fresh and far superior. The restaurant is also consistently very clean and normally uncrowded.
