Restaurants avoided, it's infect, just warmed dishes... And the staff isn't very simpa... Going your way and finding another restaurant...
A good address if you go around. The products are relatively fresh and this is the fact-house. My gratin of red fruit was poorly warmed but the sugar crêpe won a great success! Avoid fries! The service is fast and good, but deserves to be warmer.
My visit was a result of a local recommendation and I was not disappointed. There is good parking beside the church just across the road (parking in the road is not the preferred option! and the Creperie is found in the middle of a row of five or six shops. Apparently you can reserve a table but I 'dropped in ' at lunch time and had a table very quickly. It is popular at lunch time and was about half-full by the time I left. There are several menus including an 'A la Carte ' but I chose a salad and, not being a Vegitarean, was delighted by the Salad Pays d 'Auge that consisted of three good pieces of cheese (Livarot, Camembert and Pont l 'Eveque on toast on a large bed of lettuce with generous slices of tomato with a great salad dressing. I topped this off with a glass of wine and the bill was €12.40 (the salad was €8.90 and felt this represented excellent value. There is also beer avalable and coffee if you want the non-alcoholic version. A pleasant lunch-time in a small village and I would go back here when in the region again.
We have enjoyed two excellent meals, cooked and served by a very welcoming couple and engaged in the preparation of a truly home kitchen. regional products of excellent quality, chosen directly by the chef, perfect cooking, tasty dishes, delicious sauces. Not to mention the potatoes jumped. a feast! for the reception, fresh flowers on the tables. all for a modest price. A charming restaurant that is worth a visit!
