Depois de inúmeras tentativas de marcar restaurante com tudo completo devido às festas de Monsaraz chegamos a este restaurante simples e modesto com muito bom serviço e comida muito boa. As doses são muito bem servidos e a um preço mais baixo do que a maioria da área. A repetir.

Simple but wonderful food filled with locals. Very inexpensive. Overall great experience. We would return.

First of all, bring cash to this restaurant. They are still in the middle ages. The quanty of the food was a lot, however the quality was missing. I took codfish that seems that was fried with salt and my partner took a steak that was not bad although having too much fat. For the quality offered the price was too high, specialy considering the location and the country.

If you want a posher type of restaurant, this is the one for you. Menu is typically Alentejano, but better waiter service and food is excellent, as is wine. Need to reserve on Sunday lunchtimes - packed out.
