Gelato Classico Italian Ice Cream

This is one of the few places to get Gelato in the area... they have many flavors to choose and they let you try samples. My favorite is the mango sorpto, with the coconut macadamia nuts short. But be prepared for a wait, especially if it is a beautiful day out.

This is the only icefield that sells Gelato that I have found on the peninsula so far. It's decent, but it doesn't even come close to real Gelato.

I love this place! The gelato is great! They have so many flavors and unique ones too! All very tasty. When I'm in the Mountain View area I try to get gelato from here if I can. Service was great. They let you sample the gelatos before choosing one, which I really appreciate. The restaurant itself is cute. I like its old-school retro feel. It's very iconic and recognizable the way it is style. Parking in Mountain View isn't too bad. There are public lots so we managed to park in one of those are walk over

Had a scoop of the cherry and strawberry fresca ice cream for $8 and I am biased toward anything strawberry flavored so I favored that over the cherry. It was creamy and the perfect dessert after eating a meal close by. You do have the option to try the flavors before committing which is awesome. It's a small parlor with like 3 chairs and tables inside, but it can get busy so it might not be the most ideal spot to eat. There's a bunch of outdoor eating areas along the street anyway. I had to loop around a few times to find parking on a Sunday afternoon.

Found this place on Yelp, decided to drive to Downtown Sunnyvale, finding parking was a bit challenging but we found parking pretty close to the location. There was a long line when we arrived but their service is pretty fast. I got four flavors, Coffee, peanut butter cup, pistachio and chocolate and they were all 10/10, very impressed with the fresh flavors!
