Przekaż informację zwrotnąI just ate at Mount Joy Isaac's restaurant, the young man we had was incredible. Conor was very friendly and so a great waiter. You don't meet many young men like Conor. Hoping that the location manager will see this review. You have a Jem with Conor.
Lunch with the family. First visit to the grandchildren. Enjoy the children's menu options, rainbow bread PBJ was a fun surprise. All at Mount Joy site were very welcome. And I'm glad to say that my big daughter is happy to go back to lunch.
Isaac 's is one of our favorite restaurants. We were saddened when the one in Hummelstown closed as we had made friends with Odie and Sharon. Coming back from Manheim,we decided to go to Stauffers in Mt Joy. We spotted Isaac 's and decided to stop in for lunch. Imagine our surprise when we asked who the Manager was and were told Odie but had just left! Anyway, we ordered my favorite.. Twisted Chicken on a Pretzel Roll with plenty of tomatoes! My partner had a Mallard on a Pretzel Roll. Both were exceptional and so was the service. It has the old style decor with plenty of color. There is outside dining with handicapped parking in the front. It is located at the other end of the shopping center. Odie, we will be back!
Just finished up our lunch and while the food was delicious our waitress made a lot of mistakes. Firstly I specified a bowl(large) of soup and she brought me a small. I then ordered the flaming chicken wrap and specifically specified crispy chicken in the wrap and she brought it out with grilled chicken. She never came around to check up on us until we were finished. We were both low on napkins and water. She then came at the end with the check and brought my wife a tortellini salad even though my wife already got one. Like I said great food but poor customer service and lack of attention to details.
We waited 5 minutes to be seated, had one waitress offer us the pickle dish. And waited some more. Then a second waitress came and offered us the same pickle dish and this time returned with it. Finally the 2nd waitress took our drink order after about 10 minutes after our pickle dish was served. When she returned with the drink, she took our food order. Meanwhile we witnessed our first waitress seat, serve and cash out customers that came in after us. So that was not the tilling, also our 1st waitress never acknowledged us or apologized for never returning or handing us off to another waitress. The food was mediocre. We ordered a Ruben and it was cold, it?s suppose to be a hot sandwich. We had to ask for knives to cut the sandwich because it was served on multi grain bread instead of rye and was rather large and flat. They did however get our order 100% correct. Also I ordered a starter of fried pickles with the house sauce for dipping. It?s Mayo, I was severed a cup of Mayo. It was not appetizing at all. Our second waitress also seems to of been training because 2 ft behind her at all times was another women with a clipboard, it was awkward. They could have explain her presence to alleviate that. I know that they are short staffed as it seem the three women, the 2 waitress and the one doing the shadowing also had been the one handler the prepping and hosting. What should have been a quick lunch took far too long. My companion and I joked about how we should have just went to Rutters for our Rubens, as it would been far cheaper, hot and served much quicker with much better taste. Unfortunately I don?t plan on returning, even a free sandwich offer wouldn?t get me in the door.
