Degani - Mount Eliza

We have visited here almost every day for the last 3 weeks and have not had any issues with slow orders or overpriced food. The coffee is great and they open about 7.00 for coffee which is good for the area. We have had lunch and breakfast here and have been reasonably happy with the food, staff and value. There are a couple of team members that need a bit of training in smiling but other than that well worth the visit.

Good location in the village.The food looks very fresh with some great salads,slices and pastry items.The only negative it can be noisy at the busy times.Would definately go back.

Pompous self entitled staff- food horrible- stale mushrooms coackroach in my eggs! Please watch out while eating here- food also overprised and not worth it. Should be reported for Food health checks

Rude staff that have no customer service skills at all. Food delivered at different times when other people had already finished there own food. Cleanliness unsatisfactory. Won't be going here again. Very disappointed ????

We were a group of seven. Five adults and two children. Hot drinks came out within 10-15 minutes. The meals were slow (25 - 30minutes) to come out. Mainly poached eggs (4 sets). The eggs were over cooked - essentially boiled. It was fresh, but over cooking spoiled the meal. At $17 for two poached eggs on toast with avocado I expect better.After some confusion two more eggs were served as one child did not want the hard boiled eggs. I think we got someone else's replacement eggs because about 20 minutes later another egg was served. This created more confusion for the wait staff.We received a discount on the dessert due to the mix up, which was nice, but I would prefer to enjoy the meal than get a discount. Unfortunately after 20 minutes and two tired children I went back to ask where the two pre made jellies and a piece of vanilla slice was. At this time another member of our group ordered a coffee and vanilla slice. This came out within 5 minutes whilst the two jellies and other vanilla slice sat abandoned on the bench behind the cashier. I asked at this time again where our desserts were. A very confused looking waitress delivered the two jellies and slice a minute later.We might have got unlucky. The place was steady, but not full. The staff looked perplexed and not sure who was doing what. Perhaps there were new staff, but all that aside it was simple food, poorly cooked and lacked any service process.I could not recommend on the experience on this visit.
