Not great. The food was just not very good and service was slow. My brother in law's steak was very undercooked. A few of the rolls they brought to the table had mold on them (they tried explaining that some of the rolls were wheat rolls, but we showed them the BLUE spots. We were discrete so as to not affect tables nearby. They brought new ones without protest, though. The prices are insanely high for the low quality of food you are getting. The staff were very nice, but this is just another Wisconsin supper club on the way out.
Drinks were quick and the prices impressed my out of state friends. Food was delicious.
Wedding venue review only: Pleasant location for a wedding. Scenic setting outdoors. Supper club venue for the reception.
Ok, what a surprise. First off, small town USA reviews I've learned to take with a grain of salt, that's not a dis you know what you know and if you have never experienced a Michelin restaurant how can you compare. Then again, sometimes you don't need to. Good food prepared well is enough. Here at the Red Cabin is one of those examples. Friendly down home restaurant and local bar. It's just great to hang out with friends over a drink or enjoy a fine dinner out with the whole family. This is a Wisconsin iconic thing. Unpretensious family-friendly the best, The food was great. Shrimp and scallops are perfect. The green beans, with garlic and bacon, are a twice removed 2nd cousin of the southern greasy over salted Cracker Barrel fare, which means perfect. Bread pudding, a real surprise like a fudge Sunday, got jealous and jumped into the bowl so as not to be left out...hot cold gooey... On my list of places to revisit :
