Forgot my fries, I called and was told their policy is that I have to drive back in tonight. They wouldn't write down my name and I couldn't come back tomorrow. Not a great policy for customers.

I have never been to a restaurant where you have to pay extra for sauce to go with your chicken. Ever other restaurant you at least get a sauce of your choosing to go with your chicken.

We stumbled upon this Guthrie's while passing through town and decided to treat ourselves since there's no location where we live, and I really miss it after living in Tuscaloosa. Currently, this location only offers drive-thru service. We initially wanted to eat inside just to get out of the car, but it turned out fine. Prices are reasonable—around $10 per person. The drive-thru was a bit slow, but we quickly realized why: our food was extremely fresh! It was so fresh that my husband burned the roof of his mouth on a tender, which was pretty funny. The portions are generous, the fries were perfectly salted, the tenders were crispy, and the sweet tea was truly delicious. The extra ranch we requested was clearly made in-house, which is a nice touch! The staff at the drive-thru window were friendly and pleasant. Overall, for what it is, Guthrie's stands out as a solid chain, and this location is a great representative of that. If you're passing through, I definitely recommend giving them a try!

I ordered a family pack and had to drive thirty minutes to Double Springs, but it was still hot when I arrived.

Absolutely amazing! They always exceed my expectations. The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent.
