42nd Street Oyster - Morrisville

We stopped here for breakfast and found it to be a lovely spot to enjoy some coffee. However, the coffee was quite bitter. The food was decent, and the prices were what you would expect for airport dining. The staff were friendly, though they could have been a bit more attentive.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the 42nd Oyster Street Bar in the airport—yes, at the airport! The place was busy, yet they seated us and served us right away. You can place your order directly from your phone using a QR code, but our server arrived before I even had a chance to do that. Everything we tried was delicious: the raw oysters, crabcake sandwich, and a chicken twill for my little one. The server was incredibly attentive; my daughter asked for extra cheese, and she came back with a whole cup of cheese! Paying was a breeze with the QR code, and off we went.

Absolutely terrible experience. The bartender lied about what we ordered, claiming certain items were unavailable. The guy next to us ordered a dish but received the wrong one because they were out of what he wanted, and his food was served cold. To make matters worse, she poured a beer into an oversized glass that wasn't even on the menu, completely overflowing it. The mixed drink we ordered was poorly made as well. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs. It was the first and definitely the worst restaurant experience we’ve had.

I dined there once and won’t be returning due to the severe diarrhea I experienced afterward. The only silver lining was that there were plenty of restrooms nearby. They were clean—until I used them. If you're looking for a place to detox, this might be it. I’ll give it five stars for the cleanliness of the airport bathrooms!

It is an airport restaurant, so we expected it to cost too much, and budgeted for it. that is it. Open menu with QR code. they can order and pay online...the person at the desk orders last gets the whole bill. if this does not work for them, let them know the server before they order. we are from nc where sweet icy should not look or taste like lemon flavored sugar water with a drop orange food coloring. server was nice to change our drinks when we asked. good burger. sister didn't get excited about crabcake sandwich. their fries looked good...not especially. the house chips were usually overcooked and hard, and not uniformly applied. I've chosen enough fairness to fill me. neither sandwich came out exactly as ordered, but server resisted in troubleshooting
