Restaurant Chez Amelie - Morin-Heights

I decided to give this place another chance! I had only been to Juliette & Chocolat once when I had first moved to Montreal and was very let down.

I frequent this restaurant often because it is close to where I live and has long hours, closing at 11:00 pm.

I am a huge fan of Juliette et Chocolat. The dishes always have such great flavor and I have been a loyal customer for more than ten years.

Definitely not anglophone friendly...and do NOT ask them for fresh cooked bacon as I did because you'll get an earful from the waitress and the owner. Was told "it takes too much time"- Plenty more to this story but here's what you need to know:- after politely discussing the issue with the owner and politely discussing why perhaps she might make an exception (I'm retired and have all the time in the world to wait lol)... this total whacko comes out of the kitchen and starts threatening me, yelling at me and sticks his finger in my face ...All because I asked for fresh cooked bacon?Yikes!

Chez Amelie is a friendly, family operated eatery, with a basic menu. It's convenient, the service is fast, and the food plain and plainly good. A fast convenient place to get a basic breakfast, served with a smile, free coffee fill-ups, and a cozy, friendly dining room
