Dairy Queen Store - Montvale

Classic old time DQ, all the modern treats. Just in the roadside stand format. Fun time on a summer night to see families, sports teams, kids and pets rolling up on the parking lot.

First time at a Dairy Queen in an area I have never been in. I got really lucky with whatever little coins I had in my car bc they were cash only. I got a root beat float and my kids got the classic vanilla soft serve in a cup and immediately held it upside down like to test DQ theory and it WORKED ha! I was like wow this is crazy! I got the best root bear float that I have had in a long time. I loved it!

The best ice cream in Bergen County! Excellent service lots of parking will definitely be back!!

Have been coming here for 20 years and can say it's always been a nice experience. They take cash only and with all the times I've been here one would think I would remember. Sadly I've forgotten a few times : and couldn't order my fav treat kids vanilla, heath bar and cookie dough blizzard). Only outdoor seating so keep the weather elements in mind. Lots of space and parking and I love how they display pictures of the original DQ on the exterior. Still has the original look to it. Not a fancy joint just a laid back place for an icy treat. You will be served by teenagers and sometimes they seem a bit aloof, like a teenager lol, but I've had a few who recalled what I typically ordered and I give props to that attention to detail.

This is a great Dairy Queen location. It's outdoor only so if you're planning on eating your ice cream there, know that you'll be sitting outside. The service is good and it's a very old fashion ice cream vibe. I recently ordered a blizzard and it curbed my craving
