Lunch on a cold rainy day. Menu is less than 15 euros and more than enough to fill any normal person. House wine is ok. So is service. Food quality is average and no frills but tasty and well thought out. Definitely an acceptable and recomendable option for lunch in the area.

Having taken longer than expected to visit Chenonceau, we were a hungry group of 6 looking for lunch after 2pm on a cold December’s day (not easy) so we were delighted at the warm welcome we received from the staff. We enjoyed a range of food including snails for some everything was delicious and the final price was very reasonable including the demi pichet of red wine and some vin chaud (mulled wine) to warm us up.

Mostly coffee and drinks, but there is a very reasonably priced site-made lunch during the week. Great owners and staff
