Six Resto Lounge - Montréal

I had a great time at this restaurant. It was peaceful, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

My party of two was warmly welcomed when we arrived at 7:34 PM for our 7:30 reservation. We were seated promptly and quickly ordered drinks, which were served in a timely manner. However, things went downhill when we placed our orders for appetizers and main courses. Despite waiting over an hour with no updates from the staff, the waiter couldn't provide us with any information when approached. After bringing us the wrong appetizer and insisting we had ordered it, he eventually left without resolving the issue. Other tables that arrived after us were already receiving their food. When we questioned the long wait time, the waiter simply blamed the delay on the food we had ordered and claimed the manager was handling the situation. Despite our request for a time frame, no further explanation was provided. Frustrated, we decided to leave and inform the waiter at the bar. He seemed panicked and offered to comp our drinks. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I always strive to be understanding, but the lack of communication and customer service was disappointing. Thank you.

The oysters were delicious! The main course was fantastic! And the drinks were a highlight as well! Happy New Year!

I really, REALLY enjoyed the mood of this place. I love her modern, hip design and that they actually stand out from all these elegant, but not unforgettable restaurants (and hotels as attached to the DoubleTree). The food was delicate and fresh, the place was clean, there was background music for ambience, but not too loud, and the waitress was really friendly. I'd come back to Montreal at any time.
