Gia Ba - Montréal

Went here for my anniversary. Food was superb. Anything with dumplings (soup, peanut butter dumplings) was excellent and I can recommend the Shanghai duck. We didn't have alcohol. Was slightly expensive but so worth it.

Arrived at Gia Ba just after noon on a weekday for lunchIt was not very busy and we were seated right away.

My husband and I have been here now twice. Once we ate at the restaurant and the second time we picked up our food. The food is absolutely delicious, especially if you like spicy food. It isn't an expensive restaurant, but it's a few more dollars per dish than your typical Chinese take out restaurant, however, it is totally worth the extra money in terms of quality. Last but not least, I recommend eating at the restaurant, because the portion sizes seemed larger (but I could be wrong about that). All in all, excellent food, definitely a restaurant to add to your go-to Friday night list.
