Dunn's Famous Decarie - Montréal

The grilled cheese was lacking in flavor, and the coleslaw was also quite bland. On the other hand, the sliced chicken sandwich was better, with tender chicken and fresh lettuce and tomato. However, the real star of the show was the smoked meat sandwich, with juicy, flavorful meat and a generous portion size. While waiting for our takeout order, we used the restaurant's bathrooms. The interior was a bit dim, and although there is a patio, it only consists of a few parking spots in a fenced-off area, so the atmosphere is not the best. However, it is an option for those looking to dine outside. The staff at Dunn's were friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend trying their smoked meat, but for other menu items, you may want to look elsewhere. Parking is plentiful and free on-site.

This place is perfect for grabbing a late-night meal. Their menu has a variety of options, from deli favorites to hot chicken. While it may not have the best smoked meat in the city, after 10pm you can definitely rely on them to satisfy your cravings!

The food and service from our waitress were excellent. However, I am only leaving a 2-star review due to the unfriendly greeting we received. While I understand that many places are experiencing staffing shortages, it seemed like no one noticed us or was available to seat us. After finally finding a table on our own, we were approached by a very rude woman. Unfortunately, there was no manager on duty to address our concerns. Despite this negative experience, I usually do not leave negative reviews. Our waitress was very kind and the food was delicious. It is important for all staff members to communicate with customers in a respectful manner, especially when the only offense was sitting at a table.

Well, what can I say about this awful place. I was planning to go in and have my lunch for the first time ...but I couldn 't make it because ...this is the story :I drive a modest bicycle instead of a luxurious car ,and I was securing my bike in private section for the restaurant ,when an asian worker lady around 50 years, came out from the restaurant In a hurry, and instead to ask me first ,she kicked me and my bike as soon as she open her mouth... : This is private property, you can 't put your bike there and she closed the door. Didn 't give time to explain anything. Of course I changed my mind to go in, in a place where they are prejudice against people coming on bikes,evidently. But i decided to call her again to clarify the misunderstanding, and tell her that in fact ,I was a potential customer,and she was been rude in not even asking, but instead, she was rude again and said : I 'm sorry and she left like nothing ,like telling I don 't care .i don 't know about the food but if this is the kind of service this restaurant offer, I can 't imagine how bad the food can be. Workers are not happy there apparently. So, I will NOT recommend this place to anyone, that 's for sure.

The food here is a true feel and taste of Montréal. It's one of my top three choices for smoke meat in this city.Service here is awesome. Dinning in or taking out they are fast and efficient. I can't remember if they ever messed up an order for myself or family.Atmosphere is a little tacky but gives a Montréal vibe you won't find anywhere else.
