Pic Nic - Montpellier

This little restaurant was perfect for lunch. We had a delicious dish of fresh vegetables stuffed with rice and feta and salad included - fully vegetarian. A dessert of meringue with lemon curd and icecream was well balanced in flavour. All freshly prepared and served with a smile. The formule is good value at 15€50. They were knowledgeable about gluten free requirements and made us very welcome. The main dishes change on a weekly basis. Like many smaller places in the old city it is not open in the evenings. Highly recommended.

This is a tiny cafe off Avenue Foch where mother and daughter serve up some delicious light fare for lunch. There is even a pavlova on the menu for desert!! An Australian friend gave them the recipe and....although it isn't exactly what you would expect....hey...this is France and they have their own way of doing things. Try it... It's delicious.

The café is small and cozy, we had brownies and coffee in the afternoon and both was very good! The owner was friendly and we will surely come back :)

This place is closed down and has been for a few years, it has been replaced by a pizza resto
