I got the shrimp and grits, the shrimp were cooked perfectly and everything was seasoned well. Its also not terribly expensive. The staff were nice and friendly. We would definitely go here again if in town.
Everytime my family and I eat here the food is always delicious!!! We get great friendly service and the food is cooked just right. I recommend it to anyone who visits Monroe and West Monroe.
My wife and I stopped in on Monday, March 14th on our way to New Orleans. The service was great and the food was fantastic! My wife had the Mahi Mango and I had the Mardi Gras Mahi. Both were cooked great! If we ever head that way again, this is a must stop for us.
Can?t go wrong with a wine out there bottle huh. Sadly yes being a server and once bartender I know drinks shouldn?t and are not suppose to be take off but a little effort to satisfy the patron was suppose to happen. Or even the manager coming out to say I?m sorry as well. But these drinks were unsatisfactory. Yet I?ll still have to pay for them. I?ll still tip the server as he did nothing wrong. But hospitality is maybe what I?m looking for and I didn?t get that ? I?ve had wayyyyyyy better drinks here. Disappointed
We ate at Walk-On?s for the first time in a while and it did not disappoint. We started with the fried alligator and boom boom shrimp which were delicious. I had the Cajun ribeye with blackened shrimp on top and it was a fantastic cut of meat cooked medium rare. We had one pint of beer each and the drink menu was very diverse. The raspberry lemonade was a big hit. We enjoyed the lax atmosphere as well as environment fit for ease of conversation. This is a well ran Walk-On?s and you will not be disappointed!
