The Fat Pelican - Monroe

We had an incredible experience in fat pelican. ore office had our annual Christmas party there and the service was fantastic and the eating was amazing. my wife and I have the specials. the bbq shrimp bourbon sauce was the best!

Full disclosure: this review was a 4/5 until I saw that captain america will take her to the bathroom. that's what's happening. I had a burger, medium rare, with an iron sunny side up, cheese and speck and a loaded baked kartoffel. my wife had bbq garnels with a fried grottenball. the burger was very good when messy thanks to the ei (this is not a complain). backkartoffel was good, but even though it was hot, it did not melt the cheese very well; some types of cheese does not melt super easy. the garnels were a little simple, implying that most of the taste comes from the BBQ sauce, which was good, but very fish. the fried grotten were delicious. as an appetizer we had cheese and bacon frits with acidic and one side of ranch. while they look a little smooth, they are actually delicious as well; the cheese sauce was very good (it had dropped to the bottom of the fry pfahl). a beautiful hybrid casual restaurant with a beautiful taste; the decor was tasteful, but the personal was comfortable in T-shirts and jeans. and above all, captain america watching her potty.

The special on Saturday was amazing. seared thunfisch and a crabcake! the crabcakes were the absolutely best I ate. I would definitely go back.

We stayed here after the college department of my wife, I called a few days before and they were more than willing to accommodate our group of 15 people. service was literally some of the best I ever had in mind a complete restaurant and a large table. all came from chickens over pasta to garnel and groomed and we all had clean teller at the end! would they recommend the bbq garnel with Crispy handles, go as some of the best I ever had!

So happy decided to get out. Extremely pleased. AMAZING service! EXCELLENT food! WONDERFUL drink!
