Anyway, I would recommend it for a nice relaxing lunch.
I wrote a review soon after this opened and I wasn 't impressed, but what a change, we have been here twice either side of Christmas. It is a bistrot but the food quality was really excellent our last two visits and at least two of...our party are quite picky eaters but even they ate everything up and we were all delighted and will be back very soon. They have improved the decor, a much more interesting selection of food. There is a 'menu du jour ' around 14€, and a carte for 28€, we chose the carte, not that there wasn 't anything wrong with the menu du jour, I had a superb soup with a poached egg and sliced truffles, a 'house ' burger with real chip and an excellent chocolate desert. It took a while for us to 'give it another try ' as it is very close to where we life and we were glad we did. PS the view is stunning
1 August 2019 , table for 5 lunchtime . Poor quality food on the menu of the day . Been twice before , wont be going again . Served by 5 different staff . No professionalism. Too expensive poor food .
A good visit in the bistro. the first time that we were here and it is a good and always good alternative to the tours of the vent next door, which we visit each year once a year. the views are equally impressive if not better from the bistro....A 22 euro menu standard 3 courses (no choice) or 30 euro menu with a selection of a few options for each cursor. we liked the options on the 22 Euro menu so went for that and it was all good. eating was good and service was friendly. pichet from local wine at a good price.
Next to the Michelin start of the vent, this upscale totro is located at the rande of the sharp piste and offers a magnificent view over and along the Dordogne valley to surely ask for a table near the windows. excellent food for lunch. before we flew back to Great Britain (the offers will be different when they go so that I 't prescribe them) from a selection of three starters / main / desserts (for an additional fee you can have an additional cheese plate, although an option on the cheaper menu is also cheese) on the menu du jour. it's hard to publish, but the service seemed a little removed. efficient, but without real connection to us as a diner.
