From changing the burger bun on their halloumi burger to a cheap bun that you can pick up in a six pack at Woolies, undercooked chips, to charging $5 for two so thinly sliced halloumi slices (as an extra to breakfast) that they were almost see-through. We’ve now given it several tries hoping it’d go back to its original quality but have now decided not to go back.
Family Xmas meet up for Lunch. Nice al fresco area at rear for fresh air with sun or umbrella shade. Chicken Parma my order and as seen in pic, not grilled enough (cheese should gold). Large serve but only rates fair quality on my Parmi standards.
Friend ordered smashed avo on toast only for it to served pre-made and straight from fridge. Cold and bread wasn’t toasted. When friend asked for it be heated, was firmly told “no”. Friend described it as “disgusting” and in the end tried to at least eat the avo off the cold bread.
Dropped in for a coffee today and I’m so disappointed. The Barista had his mask around his chin, no one asked to QR code and the coffee and the pastry were not great. No surprise Melbourne’s lock down continues when staff or the owner (who knows) won’t wear their mask’s correctly or enforce QR code’s.
This cafe is great for a family brunch. When the drinks came the milkshakes tasted really good. Food came really fast and all at the same time. Every dish was great like the toasty, pancakes, breakfast burger, scrambled eggs and the hash browns. But the best dish was the chicken nuggets. This is a really good cafe for a weekend brunch.
