Kevin's Place - Molonglo River

We are regulars at Kevin's place. The food is consistently delicious, never had a bad run with them. The lemon chicken and satay beef are second to none. Just great.

There are two dishes that must be ordered at Kevins: Dry Chilli Beef and Salt and Pepper soft shell crab. These are honestly the best versions of these dishes I've ever had. Kevin's never disappoints. It's a basic eatery in every other respect, but the food is clean, cooked in a timely manner and delicious.

Kevin's Place is another one of my favourite Chinese restaurants for either dining in or take away. It is across the road from the Kippax Shopping Centre. We dined there just before they closed for the last two weeks in January.I ordered a few of my favourite dishes - Salt & Pepper Soft shell crab, Fish fillets in Ginger & Shallots and the Shan Tung chicken that night. Main courses for two people. The owners were friendly as usual and the dishes came out fast and were delicious.

Happy to accommodate off menu dishes, quick service. However, prawn crackers weren't quite so fresh and crispy, and the sauce in the green curry chicken dish was pretty thin. Overall it was tasty and quite acceptable.

Kevins Place would be my pick for local Chinese food. I don't think you can get great Chinese food any more so this place is good enough.The dry chilli beef is good. We get takeaway from here perhaps once a month.Have tried the other local Chinese but Kevins is the pick.
