The Roof Garden - Mojacar

I was really happy the first time I visited, but a 2nd time with my husband we chose the veg Massaman Curry which is the most expensive vegan option at €11.95 (same price for chicken or prawn options). It came as mostly strips of yellow pepper with 2 small cubes of potato. Very disappointing. My husband remarked how small the portion of curry was too. First experience .. I've added the menus to photos as I was surprised by the choice in selection. I had Carribbean Rundown but almost went for the Massaman Curry, Pulled Seitan, vegan chilli or veggie stack burger

We targeted this place for a meal following the good reviews for the veggie and vegan options. We visited earlier in the week during the day and saw a large a-frame sign outside saying they are open 10am till late for most of the week. After double checking the Google business listing confirming it was open till 9pm, we drove several miles up the coast only to find it closed on a Thursday evening (the sign was still in place confirming it should be open). Suggest checking with them directly to avoid disappointment as the opening hours are currently not as advertised. After the inconvenience caused even after all our research we won 't be returning for another attempt.

Bien explicadas las opciones vegetarianas y veganas. Nos sirvieron muy rápido y fueron muy amables con nosotros. Es un buen lugar para encontrar opciones veganas y a buen precio en la zona de Mojácar playa. Todo casero. Volveremos seguro. Updated from previous review on 2021-05-16

Perfecta terraza con vistas al mar, servicio atento y amable. Bastantes opciones veganas y vegetarianas muy completas.

As vegans it is very difficult to find a restaurant with a decent meal. Well we found it in Mojacar. A little bit hidden gem off a restaurant on the top floor off the commercial centre of Mojacar. We had four vegan plates. The vegetable platter The presentation was amazing, it looked like a painting so beautiful), the vegetable Caribbean rundown, the Moroccan vegetables and the Jamaican vegetable pepper pot. Every dish was full of taste and beautifully presented. Home made hummus to die for accompanied the vegetable dish. For dessert we had 2 vegan ice creams with strawberry sauce and a home made vegan chocolate cake. Totally amazing, especially the chocolate cake)!!! And to complete the perfect evening on a beautiful atmospheric terrace with sea view there was our waitress Trish. Never had an waitress so attentive and nice as she was. Trish don´t apologize for the fact we had to wait a little bit for our food. We where so comfortable and enjoying the evening that we would have waited for an hour more without any problem. Good food needs time to prepare and we didn´t wait a minute to long. We speak out off experience. We are the owners off a restaurant with extensive vegan menu in the area and we know what we are talking about. We will be back very soon. Thanks so much for an amazing evening. Como veganos, es muy difícil encontrar un restaurante con una comida decente. Pues lo encontramos en Mojácar. Una joya un poco escondida en un restaurante en el último piso del centro comercial de Mojácar. Teníamos cuatro platos veganos. El plato de verduras La presentación fue increíble, parecía una pintura tan hermosa), el resumen de verduras del Caribe, las verduras marroquíes y la olla de pimienta de Jamaica. Cada plato estaba lleno de sabor y muy bien presentado. Hummus casero para morirse acompañado del plato de verduras. Para el postre tomamos 2 helados veganos con salsa de fresas y un pastel de chocolate vegano casero. Totalmente increíble especialmente el pastel de chocolate) !!! Y para completar la velada perfecta en una hermosa terraza atmosférica con vista al mar, estaba nuestra camarera Trish. Nunca había tenido una camarera tan atenta y amable como ella. Trish no se disculpe por el hecho de que tuvimos que esperar un poco por nuestra comida. Estábamos tan cómodos y disfrutando la noche que hubiéramos esperado una hora más sin ningún problema. La buena comida necesita tiempo para prepararse y no esperamos demasiado. Hablamos fuera de la experiencia. Somos los dueños de un restaurante con menú vegano en el área y sabemos de lo que estamos hablando. Volveremos muy pronto. Muchas gracias por una noche increíble.
