The place was recommended to us by a friend, but the website was only in Italian, so we had no idea what to expect. When we arrived we were greeted by Monica and her mother who runs the place together. They were incredibly warm and welcoming and made our stay very special eventhough we were not able to talk to each other very much due to the language barrier. The rooms are actually small bungalows with a bed room and a bath room. The interior is basic, but very cozy. The large dining room is decorated in cozy Italian style and there is a very nice garden with tables, loungers and hammocks to enjoy when weather permits. We had ordered half board with our stay and we were very glad that we did! The food was amazing. Every night we feasted on 4 courses antipasti, primi (pasta or semolina), secondo (meat) and dolce with espresso and homemade liquors all washed down with a nice red wine from the nearby coop. All made with love, care and home grown or local ingredients. Very, very delicious and we got the chance to taste some local Sardinian dishes and homemade cakes and sweets. What makes this place special is really Monica and Ada. They made us feel very welcome even if it was a bit off season and we were the only guests there. Monica even took us to the local coop winery and helped us buy a couple of bottles at a good price. All in all a place that we would love to return to if we go to Sardinia again. Very good value for money and a great place to just relax, enjoy and find tranquility.
