Mamma Mia Pizzeria - MITCHELL PARK

We have ordered from this restaurant multiple times as it's the only pizza shop in town. I really can't understand why they don't try to improve their pizzas! Surely they realize they are not really like other pizza shop pizzas (not in a good way either!) the base is like one I once made at home when I first tried making my own pizza! (It was a disaster) has no flexibility just a stiff cardboard like device for holding average quite flavorless topping. I am reviewing this store because I really hope they take onboard my comments as constructive criticism as they really have the opportunity to be great! With no competition in town it makes it a decision you gotta make if you're in a group and people want pizza, however, if I was that shop I'd rather be busy for making good, tasty pizza than for being the 'only option' for pizza in town. If other pizza shops can make great pizza your store can too guys! Just try out some options!

Called up for a phone order they said it would be 35 min we got there after 40 min and they were still not ready. Once they were cooked went to pay via eftpos and we couldn't as the only person who could use it was the boss and he was out on deliveries but we were told to wait even though we offered to go get cash out. Once the boss was back he could not get the eftpos machine to work and told us to wait another 5 mins again. We asked for some kind of compensation for the time we have had to wait and the owner was very unfriendly about it. After 40 minutes of waiting on top of our original waiting time the owner came out and told us to go get cash out. With no apologies and only a free bottle of coke (which I requested) the owner was extremely unfriendly and lacked people skills. Once we got home the pizzas were tough and dry probably due to sitting on top of oven for so long. If they want to be successful in such a small town they need to lift there game big time. Never ever going back!

We stopped here en route to Wang, and the decision was a good one. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The pizza was a medium-thickness crust with a generous helping of cheese and toppings. They are happy to do a half-and-half pizza and even have dessert pizzas (though we didn't have one, maybe next time). Overall, a great little spot. They are currently doing some renovations, so interested to see the final restaurant.

The pizzas were great, quick and well priced. The service to the door was terrific, and they had organised the change when we ordered. Smart people.

Pizza is nothing to write home about very disappointing as this is a small town and we like to support our locals but with the way I was treated there last time I ordered a pizza I'll never be going back.
