Mooi Espresso - Mitcham

If you are pressed for time and in the Mitcham area Mooi Espresso is a perfect place to stop. It is an "open" cafe in the middle of the Mitcham Shopping Centre so you can't miss it - a comfortable place to take a break on a hot day, which caters well for "mums and bubs" because there is room for prams, strollers and also walkers for the not-so-young. Prompt service and a small but substantial cafe style menu makes it a good choice for brunch, lunch or a light snack. The muffins and friands are always fresh and I have also enjoyed some delicious cakes, with the serves being quite generous. The coffee is on par with any other good quality cafe but if coffee is not your choice then the smoothies are excellent. Share a coffee and catch up with your friends next time at Mooi.

This restaurant is no longer open 24 hours a day. As of July 1, 2015, they will be closing at 11:00PM and reopening the next morning at 5:00AM.

Most Tim's locations consistently receive 4 stars. However, I am only giving this particular location 3 stars due to its lack of a drive-thru and slower lines.

This Tim Hortons location holds a special place in my heart because it is where I first took my wife out for coffee when we were first dating.

Stopped in for a coffee break while shopping. Located in the middle of the centre and plenty of seating available. However, for a coffee place to be worth stopping at you need good service and/or good coffee. This had neither. Mitcham Shopping Centre is only about 10 to 15 minutes from the CBD and the centre is small but has some really good shops. Pity this isn't.
