Excellent place to eat very comfortable very attentive and the food’s amazing. Unfortunately I see that the owner passed away, so they are temporary closed

JUST MOVED HERE A YEAR AGO. FOUND IRON BARLEY. AND WE LOVE IT. THE 50/50 BURGER WITH A FRIED EGG ON TOP IS MY FAVORITE. EVERYTHING WE HAVE TRIED HAS BEEN GREAT. SERVICE HAS ALWAYS BEE FANTASTIC. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE IRON BARLEY.

They are temporarily closed as,Tom,passed away,several weeks ago.Gen,his wife,always worked with Tom,so this is the reason for it being closed.

Iron Barley is an absolute gem of an eating establishment in the Jefferson County area. When I have friends/family in from out of town, this is where I take them. Scratch made everything, excellent micro-beer selection, all at fair prices. Their events, many of which proceeds go to various charities- are incredible. I sincerely hope they stay here in High Ridge.

Unfortunately the owner-Chef passed away. The restaurant is permanently closed. A final party was held March 20, 2022. There is a Gofundme for the family to help with funeral expenses.
