Scoreboard Grill - Minnetonka

This restaurant had been coming up on my OpenTable list of recommendations for years and I finally decided to visit. I was expecting a sports bar without much ambiance. But, boy was I surprised. Def sports bar, but more upscale. Great service and she was attentive, pleasant and helpful. Super busy and popular. Loved that there seemed to be a pretty good group of regulars at the bar. If there was any disappointment, as a person with a gluten-allergy I had super limited choices. Am thinking that having some options...gf bread, buns, flatbreads/crusts, pasta...that's not hard to do...and the menu needs to accommodate gluten free diners. You guys are outliers for not including more choices.

The food is always good, and the menu is large enough that there are options for almost everyone.

We had lunch for people. Our server, Sue, was friendly and thoughtful. We all ordered different items. Everyone enjoyed their order. Some of us are hearing-impaired, so the absence of intrusive background music was greatly appreciated.

Usually love the Scoreboard, but this experience was slightly different. We looked at the menu online before going, and it was different that the one in the restaurant. Normally I would not care, but I wanted a specific item It was a Monday lunchtime with few tables yet service was slow. I understand the problem of staffing in these days, but you would think it would have been quicker with only a few tables The food is always great, but I think I will stick with brunch on weekends here. The eggs Benedict and hash browns are awesome. One last thing…the pickle slices served with burgers and sandwiches are AWFUL. I highly recommend a new brand of dills!
