Completely obsessed with The Wooden Keg Tavern(s). However, this is the one location we avoid if possible, because service takes forever. Pottsville and St. Clair are much faster.

.59 wings on thursdays. There 's about 20+ sauce options. Menu looked pretty enticing also. Lots of great drinks and beer and a list of mixed beers, not just the usual black 'n 'tan. I 'll be back for sure.

We were driving from out of town and heard of Wooden Keg. Hours on site states 12:00pm to 2:00am. Well it's 1:25pm and they are Closed! False times listed and a waste of our time to take a detour just to stop to eat here when they don't open until 4:00pm!

Takes a long time to get your food, which isn't even good. I tried the wings and the shrimp tacos but wasn't impressed.

Sorry to say that our experience today was absolutely horrible.. We have been there many times before and was always VERY pleased with everything... The waitress was wonderful..sweet very good at what she does.. The cook on the other had not so much.He came out of the kitchen cursing like a lunatic all because we asked if he could turn down his rap music just a little.. The waitress also agreed that it was very loud.. We placed our order and were having a drink when he came out cursing like that...He continued to carry on by slamming stuff in the kitchen and still flipping out.. My fiance and I both agreed we were not having diner there.. Got up and told the waitress to just charge us for our drinks and to cancel our order.. We are out for a date nite and don't need to listen to a pissed off cook who's acting all crazy.. I do believe we will never go back there until something changes.. This star is only because the waitress was absolutely wonderful...
