Gordo Burger - Milwaukee

We visited on Friday, July 8th, but found the restaurant closed, and it seems like Gordo Burger may no longer be operating. We were quite disappointed, especially since we had heard such great things about it. We're curious if the new place will offer the amazing burgers everyone has been raving about. I’m giving it two stars because the staff were polite when we inquired.

When we visited, we were the only customers there, and although it's set up like a self-service place, the staff member brought our food directly to us instead of just calling out our order. She even returned a few minutes later to check on us and refilled our drinks! We felt like we were in a real restaurant, not just a fast-food spot. She was so kind! I highly recommend this place!

My friend and I ended up here on a Saturday night after facing a long wait at the Mexican restaurant down the road. I'm so glad we did! The guy behind the counter was incredibly friendly and charming. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger medium rare, and it was fantastic! We had a great experience, with a delicious burger and a fun team working there. I will definitely be returning!

Gordo burger is far beyond and across all the burger pitches in and around the bay view area. the service was impeccable and the burger. I can't even find a word that would do their food right. All I can do is recommend that if they are burger to give them an attempt, they will not regret, in fact they will become more probable than not a regular customer. Do not take my word to stop it and see how well it is made to eat and how fast and friendly the service is.

Wow, what a great burger! Just enough of that grill char taste to enhance everything. Get the burger with mac and cheese; they don't overdo it, it's a wonderful balance of flavors and the homemade pickle slices add a nice crunch and brine. Tasty food and great, friendly, conversational service.
