Andrey and his team are really amazing! besides a lot of amazing regional were from Eastern Europe its personal generousness is also inspiring. we recently approached the European flavors to help us take up a fundraiser for Ukrainian refugees, and Andrey immediately agreed without hesitation and offered us her party space for free! in a time when regional differences and hates hit the top, European tastes are a pure example for regional unity and community support!
Whether I need Hungarian paprika, kvass, Ukrainian pickles, bulk poppy seeds, Russian chocolate and sodas, authentically fermented sauerkraut, kompot, or rye crisp... this place delivers! It's so fun to take my family (who has Eastern European heritage) and watch their eyes light up in excitement.Yes, the building is old, but it has character. The store is well organized and clean. Lots of different brands of the same product, so you can be particular if you have a favorite type.Their selection of smoked fish, sausage, bread, cheese, and frozen pierogi is also good. They will slice the amount of cheese you need off of the wheel. Yesterday, I purchased some fresh piroshki as a dinner treat for my wife. They were delicious.
Awesome place to get Eastern European/Russian foods and drinks. Friendly staff willing to help with any of your questions.
As a Polish person, I've been visiting the Polish store in Salt Lake City, but it's quite small. After discovering this new store, I won’t be returning to the old one! This shop has it all - a fantastic selection of Eastern European treats, from cheeses to candies, and it really brings back memories of home. This is officially my new go-to store!
