Shawnigan Jen's Sushi & Teriyaki

I live in the area so I frequent this place a lot. My fav dish is the Bibimbap! Its satisfying on so many levels. The crunch from the veggies, the fluffyness from the rice, the heat from the sauce and the sweet, juicy flavor of the meat. (Que Homer Simpson drool). The fried egg on top just brings it all together in the most delightful way. Its my go to meal when my hungover. I get it everytime. The price is right too. I order it with two Miso soups. This place also has the best fries! Their Sushi is also really good. Really fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and fast. Perfect if you want to grab some food quickly and head to the lake. I highly recommend it! My only wish for this place is that they serve more traditional Japanese dishes and have more of a selection for Sushi rolls (like Unagi roll). Regardless, ill continue to go to this place again and again.

Combo 'C' for dinner tonight.Teri beef tender, better than teri chicken which was a bit rubbery. Very tasty tempura (yam, shrimp, butternut squash and zucchini) with sauce. California roll ok, but maybe made way earlier in the day. For a hole in the wall place, it was pretty good! Will go again, sticking with teriyaki beef and fixings.

Sushi is made fresh to order, always hot and delicious. I work in the building and eat it twice a week almost every week. I recommend them to all my clients! yum yum yum

From customer service to eating at the prices....all is excellent! there is no long waiting time. 15 minutes and I'll go and pick it up.
