Never written a poor review before, until now. Sadly unimpressed throughout. Waitress serving us (Angela) was impolite and abrupt, did not smile once and gave impression we were an inconvenience actually being there. As a minimum I expect staff to be polite and welcoming. I asked for still water for my children, she replied sternly and with a blank expression ‘what do you mean’? Unbelievable!!! the worst waitress service I have ever received. Not polite, not welcoming and when I questioned her attitude when paying the bill, she just looked blankly at me. If you are working in the service industry I expect people to have basic people skills! This restaurant cannot rely only on its advantageous position in Milan and treat tourists as poorly as this. The management should hire Gordon Ramsey to teach the staff some manners and skills in hospitality!!!!
One of our worst meals in Italy. The mushroom pizza was disappointing- the mushrooms were soggy and probably canned. We also tried fried dough with tomatoes that wasn’t good either. And the price was as much as our best meal in Rome.
Me and my husband visited Farinella late on a Saturday. We came in from the light drizzling rain and falling leaves in early December. My husband had his mind set on a strange deep fried pizza but I wanted chicken that night. They were out of chicken so I opted for the SorRiso cacio, pepe, *Gamberi rossi e lime. (Carnaroli rice creamed with cheese, black pepper and red prawns tartare scented with lime) . Both dishes were very good. My rice had the distinct black pepper flavor and the lime and shrimp really made it exquisite. All in all it was a great meal.
Nice location, good products, but prices really exaggerated . work there close but for a salad you can not spend 15 euros .
