Hwaro 2 - Midtown UNLV

This restaurant is of the best Korean bbq restaurants in town.I recently ate at this establishment again. Upon walking through the door I was greeted with a happy welcome. I was sat immediately. My order was taken promptly and the food came out practically instantaneously. My food was delicious as usual.Kevin was my most recent server. He did a fantastic job. He was extremely courteous and attentive. It was certainly one the best customer experiences I have had at a restaurant.The staff, food and even the ambiance is top notch here. I highly recommend this restaurant.

If I could choose half a star, I would. They charge 20% gratuity on parties of 4 or more. You also only have an hour and 20 minutes to eat.The food was fair, not near the top or bottom as far as quality goes.The service was slow and got orders wrong. They never brought a coke, twice. Which I judge this the most, as drinking while eating is important to me.Another issue, among several not listed, the server brought meat to the table and handed it across the rice, spilling the raw meat juices across 3 different orders of rice. Another thing(rice) that makes eating much more enjoyable, now not being able to be used for 20 minutes.

The food is excellent! The service is good! But the Korean lady who’s taking the orders needs more training in dealing with customers. She’s so harsh and sarcastic!!

I came here to have a nice Christmas Dinner and they rejected me because I was alone that it has to be 2 people or more. Like really on Christmas you do this to a single person trying to eat ? Never coming here
