South Beach House - Midlothian

Quiet. First Sunday. Wings were good. Good. Good selection of beers. Many regulars. Bartender attentive and friendly. Nice place to drink a beer. Will be back.

Attentive staff, owner is present and works as hard as his staff, and there is always something to do while you visit. Darts, video games and cornhole to name just a few. Also, they recently announced in the ladies' room about the Rainbow-Shot that will be ordered to signal to employees that someone harass you or you feel uncomfortable. In any case, a place that takes care of the safety of its guests. Very recommended!!!

That was a very unusual bar. I stopped as a guest of the city. This bar lives almost to its name. It feels like a diving bar that should be on the beach. I don't know if it's a compliment or not. I was there on Saturday afternoon and the crowd was probably 30 to 40 years old males. It felt like all losers from high school went to that bar. Lol Besides the atmosphere, I thought the bartenders were great. Our drinks came out quickly. The service as a whole was very good. I wouldn't bring anyone here for the first date or for business purposes. I could see I come back here when I was a local and with one of my mates. Some people have no influence on diving bars and I'm one of them. My father-in-law was with me as he suggested that we stop and try while we were on the side of the city. He's in his early 60s and he didn't feel very comfortable there.

I was brought here and I didn't know what to expect, but I really liked it. You can pay money and add songs to the jukebox. I had a steak and shrimp quadilla and it was really good. I would like to visit in summer because there is a terrace. The owner was really cool and everyone had a cool mood. There are TVs if you want to see games and several bars. I just don't drink so I couldn't get anything, but my friend was a lil lit.

South Beach is a unique local gathering place, that has an exceptional staff(the same staff has been there for a long long time, this says volumes of how this place is run), and has loyal repeat clients. I am one of them. They have a unique blend of food choice's from a limited breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you have not been to this local gem, go check it out.
