I cannot remember the name of it but it was definitely interesting, sliced tomatoes, beef tendon slices, julienned cucumbers,1/2 egg and topped off with kimchi and ice floating in it,lol I did like it the broth seemed to be vinegar infused. I would go again.
Best restaurant in Middletown! The braised beef noodle soup with egg and the steamed pork/shrimp dumplings are AMAZING!
Wang' kitchen has lots of delicious food, enjoy them
We found Wang's Kitchen randomly, it was on our way back home from Kartrite. My husband ordered M1 (beef lo-mien), the hand pulled noodles were nice and bouncy and the soup had a nice flavor (must add their hot chilly oil if you're into spicy, gives it a nice kick). I had their Beijing fried bean sauce noodle, this noodle dish is soupless, came with julienned cucumbers carrots as well as raw bean sprouts. The sauce is a bean paste base with (I believe) minced pork. A lot of restaurants make this too salty but Wang's was a good balance with the veggies adding some refreshing crunchiness to the noodles. Our kids enjoyed their beef fried noodles, they finished so quickly I barely got to take a look. We also ordered the chives pockets but they were only able to deep fry them so I didn't enjoy that as much because personally i like to eat them pan-fried with a little chewiness and a little crunchiness. Overall we would visit again if we are in the area, it was a pleasant meal. The owners were friendly and very nice people. Definitely worth supporting your local mom pop shops.
The restaurant recently change their ownership. Now they have variety of options: noodles soup, soup dumplings and cold dishes. Highly recommend the lamb noodles soup, the hand pulled noodles is the best!
