The burrito and enchiladas were fantastic, and the drinks were delicious as well. This place has definitely become a regular stop for us!
My wife and I have always loved this place and the overall ambiance of the bar. It's our go-to spot. We appreciate the low ceilings, dim lighting, decor, and the general atmosphere of the restaurant. Maggie's and now Choncho's are our two favorite Serenity restaurants. When we found out that Maggie's original location was relocating and a new theme would be introduced, we were a bit uncertain. However, we were both pleasantly surprised to discover that the new theme is based on one of our favorite movies... Nacho Libre! (Beneath all the humor, there's a wonderful message.) It's a fantastic concept! The food is delicious, the drinks are refreshing, and the staff is wonderful. The service is excellent, and they've really managed to keep the bar vibe intact! We will definitely be back.
This Mexican restaurant is way overpriced! Rice and beans are inexpensive, yet they charge extra for chips and dip, which is unheard of for a Mexican place. I've never experienced a restaurant that doesn't offer complimentary chips and dip! The food lacked flavor; although the portion sizes were decent, the taste was cheap and underwhelming. If you want great food at half the price, try Toritos down the street on Route 1 South! The martinis are as round as paper plates, and the beer mugs are the size of a large thermos! I definitely won’t be coming back to this overpriced spot!
I called to place an order and was told that I had to order online. When I tried to order the "pick 3 tacos" option as mentioned on the website, I was informed that I couldn't do that. Great job—now you've lost a customer and possibly more.
