As a native I occasionally come to the stand up. always a living atmosphere with friendly bar staff. the cross bar band is entertaining. with many gastronomy as well as some regular favorite and some exceptional cosmopolitan lagers, it is a great foundation for the repertoire tank. eating is always good, slightly expensive, but consistent, high quality and so worth. unusually it is both a place for groups, but with its cheers shaped square bar is welcome for individual visitors (i.e. you do not feel noticeable). another fabulous gem in beautiful lindfield.

I am very surprised to see reviews really knock this place! I have visited several times in recent years for eating and drinks. always had good friendly service and amazing eating. it's just a walk, they can't book, so I wouldn't go hungry there when they visit at peak times. our youngest visit was a Friday night, the place was full! there was a wait for the food, but they were honest and right before. Thai food is freshly cooked. when we ordered a starter, they managed to use this quite quickly for us. when it was busy, I looked for a table while my partner and his friend ordered drinks at the bar. I swore to them that a barman thought I'd beg him. he came by to check that I was in order, as I was sitting a weeping to see if I needed help. I felt he was very thoughtful to check if I was okay. Thank you! we'll be back for dinner and drink at some point, never had a bad visit!
