Bolney Stage - Mid Sussex

Been here a few times but not for a while. Only had snacks and starters but they were very good. Service throughout was excellent and the place was full to the rafters and on a Monday!! Reasonably priced as well. Will be going back soon

The restaurant is located in a beautiful old building that is well-maintained, both inside and out. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and despite being busy, the noise level is not overwhelming. The seating is comfortable, the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly, courteous, and attentive. We celebrated a birthday party with 10 people, and everyone had a great time. Overall, a fantastic experience.

First visit and wasn’t disappointed! The Bolney Stage has been on the ‘to try’ list for a while now. Lovely old building with wooden beams, big car park, lovely Xmas decor, great atmosphere. The staff were all friendly. The food arrived fast, even though they were busy! I’d recommend the lamb shoulder as the meat was so tender it just fell off the bone, and the chocolate and cherry trifle was delicious! Looking forward to coming back in the new year!

I had a delightful Saturday lunch at this charming country pub. I went with five adults and two children, and we all received excellent service and felt very welcome. The kids enjoyed their meals from the children's menu, and I loved my meal as well. I had a fantastic steak, ale, and mushroom pie that was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The rice pudding dessert was unlike any I've had before, with delicious flavors including coconut. I would happily return to this pub in the future.
