I highly recommend it for families with children, as it is very kid-friendly and offers plenty of hands-on activities for the little ones. The shows are definitely worth attending; if you can manage to see all of them, I would absolutely recommend it. My tip is to sit somewhere in the middle for the best view. One of the highlights for me was the Sherlock Holmes experience they currently have, which is very interactive and lets you participate in solving challenges to crack the mystery. Overall, I would recommend visiting—it was a lovely day! I suggest setting aside 4 to 5 hours to explore, as you will want enough time to experience everything they offer. Don’t worry; it may seem like a long time, but the hours fly by when you're having fun and learning!
This wonderful science museum features exhibits on marine life, astronomy, human physiology, and rocket science! The planetarium is among the best I've encountered in recent years. The extensive marine life exhibition, showcasing stingrays, hammerhead sharks, various fish, and corals, is a major highlight. There are also fascinating ice age and rocket science exhibits, along with interactive "Me Labs" that offer valuable insights for both young adults and older visitors. It's a must-visit destination for anyone aspiring to be a scientist! Additionally, the observation deck and solar spot on the top floor, along with the food options available within the building, are great perks!
What an incredible place! My 9-year-old son and I spent nearly 5 hours there, and we were blown away by so many of the exhibits. The aquarium is fantastic, and there are all sorts of informative and engaging activities to enjoy. The dome screen movie was absolutely stunning! Even the cafeteria lunch exceeded our expectations, offering healthy options like grilled salmon, brown rice, and fresh avocado—all at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place!
Absolutely beautiful. It's regularly changing and I've gone about 4 times and every time is better than the last. There are lots of animals, interactive games (suitable for all ages, and plenty of super informative plaques to read and learn from. From May-September there is a Sherlock Holmes exhibit which was absolutely incredible. Would recommend for tourists and residents of South Florida.
Fantastic place without a doubt. All floors have something amazing to look at. Special mention to the jellyfishes and the open spaces on the top floor where you're really close to birds and fishes. It's a total delight Also, be sure to go to the roof for some amazing views. Totally recommended
