Chug's Diner - Miami

Great place to stop when they visit coconut grove! funny mix of American indoor atmosphere with miami torched outdoor seats! menu is limited, but will certainly have something for everyone, including some Cuban favorites.

Seemed like a cool spot to try especially from the Ariete Group. Service was good and food was tasty and was happy with it.The short rib croquette was different and I thought it was really good. The ham was good too.The guava cheese pastelito was pretty amazing.I had a frita and it was a lot larger than expected and it got a bit soggy towards the end but over all I still enjoyed it.The flan was amazing. Having tried the flan from Ariete which set the standard for me. This one was different but just as good. Super creamy texture and the caramel sauce was nothing short of delicious.I do wish they had some more Cuban staples like batido de mamey and some home made juices etc.

Lucy is amazing. Pastries are amazing. Cuban Tamal is amazing. Chugs is amazing. Sit at the counter and prepare to have a great meal! Highly recommend!

Way better than your usual diner. It oozes that old world spirit and music while feeling modern. New place and super clean. I sat at bar and couldn’t believe how clean the kitchen looked. They have in house chef creating wonderfully tasty and inspiring food. I have been here more than once.

Food horrible!!!!!!Long wait!To small!Extortion prices!Might as well rob us with a gun!My daughter and I decided to check this place out after seeing it was reopened.Once our EXPERIENCE began we wondered what is the big deal about this place?To loud, to salty, dirty, long wait for everything they offer!!What Cuban place takes this long for a simple coffee?I'll tell you, a fake Cuban place!!!Why am I going to explain in depth how awful this place is?To much wrong with it! Don't know where to begin!!!This place would have been better off remaining closed! Why put your customers through such a horrible experience!!Keep walking to another place worth visiting.Coming here will have you leaving with a headache, stomachache, and complete disgust!Nothing to be desired!
