Kay’s Island Grill - Miami Gardens

Kay’s Island Grill has the best best Caribbean food. The food is made fresh every day. The fried turkey, fish, mushroom rice, Mac and cheese is delicious. There are many other dishes that are delightful. The whole staff is professional and friendly.

OMG! I ordered the fried turkey and the jerk chicken meals, and let me tell you, they are worth EVERY penny! The portions are HUGE, and the taste is beyond good! The rice peas are very flavorful even without the pikliz or gravy, which they include. If you order the fried sweet plantains, they give more than enough. I definitely will be ordering from them again. I do suggest ordering extra pikliz, but that may just be me because I love covering everything in it. Great job, guys! You found a new customer in me!

Once again, they didn't have the Curry Chicken Meal, but they did call me to tell me. I got the Fried Breaded Tilapia, but I didn't like it too much. It's not bad, but I think I'll stick with the fried turkey.

I ordered the Fried Breaded Tilapia and Curry Chicken Meal, but unfortunately they didn't have either one available at the time. They did call me to let me know so I could make another selection. Very good customer service and even better food! You've got a faithful customer in me!

It was pretty good. The salmon was big. Mashed potatoes and broccoli was nice a nice combo for the seafood. However the shrimp gave off a fishy smell that turned me off so I didnt eat that part .
