The service was good, not great. I refilled my water all night. I had to ask other servers to speed up a new beverage order. My server had a certain knowledge of will, but not advanced; even unacceptable. But I could handle it and still get to the 5 star rating. It was really food quality and personnel training. Why were there yellow (twisted) leaves in my salad? (See picture). Why was the rice refrigerator cold? For a 4-star resort restaurant I do not expect the staff to be clustered in an open corner to reveal it to an absolute company and management failure. It is clearly a management restructuring of cutting costs where they can and no love or culture in the environment. Your last award was in 2007, and while you want to praise this, I enjoyed better quality in Benihana and I despise places like this! You're clearly here for the scene. It's really for non-food tourists to call a place they were? The selection was the best part of the menu. I've always tried to try their little bites I thought they could be distinguished, but you'd better get rid of a roy. As you can say, I am SUPER disappointed by the quality, but try to be beautiful enough to give them an average rating. Obviously, an upper management company fails. I won't come back?
Amazing sushi. Wonderful service. Drinks were breathtaking. Go here for a special night. Did not even make the pictures of the sushi rolls because we swallowed them.
Very unprofessional servers and other employees. Making worse is the unprofessional server told me that he is the grandson of the owner. I simply asked my salmon to be cooked, and the server made a HUGE deal out of it as if he had never heard of anyone who wants rare salmon. When he went to the sushi kitchens that wore the dish, his body language and facial movement showed his frustration and some of the chefs looked at me, one even laughed. Very unprofessional, should they know that they do not intentionally stare at a guest and show the guest that they are? I'll talk about it. He took frequent cigarette breaks, I was without utensils and water most of my restaurants (he took the dish with the cutlery on it and did not replace the cutlery when he brought new food). I sat down for a few moments that smuggled him until another employee saw me wiping and told him I wobbled for him, and my food was slightly cold when he brought me new cuts. He gave me a friend shrimp for free and said he won? I asked why? and told him that the salmon rarely cooked is not a big deal, it is not necessary to give me a free meal because of it. I just didn't understand why this big thing was made out of such a COMMON question. If you don't ask your guest what temperature they are? d like her salmon then you shouldn't be crazy if they don't like the temperature it came. Finally, was said and done, the server showed on a picture on the wall saying that the man in the picture is his grandfather, who founded Katsuya. I don't understand how the grandson of the owner would have treated me with such a misfortune. I was denied a job there because of him, which is good when looking at a server that works there that I recognized by Rusty Pelican, actually told me that the money is not almost as good as I could think? But if you want to deny a person a job based on half a complaint from your unprofessional servers and sushi chefs, then the whole world must hear this complaint.
The expensive and average quality was bad, but nothing was stellar. I expected more from a restaurant at SLS. We had two cocktails, soup, chicken, roasted rice, seabass and salad. Cocktails were good, salad had too much dressing, roasted rice had very little taste, and the seabass was just okay. I wouldn't return.
Came here for happy hour for drinks and food. Cocktails were the best part for me. Their picante was delicious and spicier than I've had from other places. The pomegranate jasmine cocktail was good but the tequila overpowered the drink, didn't taste the jasmine at all, but otherwise, still a good cocktail. For food, what was memorable was the crispy brussel sprouts and the fried fish. The hand rolls, crispy tuna, and chicken were just okay. All in all, I'd come back for cocktails.
