Come to mochomos in the last 4 years. it is like family, eating is always great, drinks are the best. my customers love to come here! highly recommended if in mexicali dont hesitate 8n visit its always packed, so make sure to reserve the time. the today's waiter was antonio!

Great selection of meats, nice place and good service We went 2 straight nights and the experience was far beyond that we expected. Nice elegant restaurant in definitely the nicest area in Mexicali. Very good service. Good selection of meats. Salmon and chicken also available...and salads. The RIB EYE MOCHOMOS were very good. My SPECIAL SEAFOOD PLATE was excellent and a large portion (I could only eat half of it). Nice service, great ambiance, superb food. Prices not unreasonable.
My coworkers took us here twice during our stay in Mexicali since it was close to our hotel and had good food. The first night was quieter and we were quickly seated. The second night was packed and thy opened the second floor seating to...accommodate the groups that did not have any reservations. Service was decent but definitely challenged on the busier night. The atmosphere was open and great for socializing. Overall menu was quite large with mostly beef options but seafood options were a close second. The beef options were always cooked a bit over than our request so keep that in mind should you be craving beef. For me, I went with seafood each night and with all the appetizers we ordered that was the best decision since the plates were generously sized. Top appetizers from our team was The charred octopus which was perfectly grilled and seasoned The beef stuffed peppers were surprisingly very tasty. The shrimp ceviche was a little tart but nicely prepared Mochomos salad I tried the salmon valle but the salmon was overcooked and the next night was the shrimp tacos and that was tastier. The mochomos red wine was quite good and a bargain compared to the imports. We will be back as this was unanimously the best one within walking distance to our hotel.
